Research Ethics

The research ethics is supervised by the UPOU IREC, a Level 1 accredited by the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PHREB). All institutional research undergoes the review for ethical soundness. Information on the review process can be viewed at their website.

The UP Open University Institutional Research Ethics Committee (UPOU IREC) is the body that implements the university policy of overseeing the ethical soundness of the institutional research produced, including any research conducted by faculty members, students, REPS, and staff.
