The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs is organizing a Research Conversation Series for the year 2026 with the title “RESEARCH CONVERSATIONS: INNOVATIVE RESEARCH PROJECT OPPORTUNITIES”.
The Research Conversation Series aims to provide a venue for discussing ways to improve research productivity and inculcate a research culture among UPOU’s faculty members, Research, Extension and Professional Staff (REPS), and administrative personnel. The series has taken on a flexible format in providing different avenues for encouraging research collaboration at all levels.
For the 1st installment of this series, it will have Dr. Primo G. Garcia and Dr. Rita C. Ramos, Professor and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Management and Development Studies at the University of the Philippines Open University, respectively, as the resource speakers. They shall talk about “Conversations on Funding Research” and “Turning Ideas into Impact: Leadership and Funding in Research Projects”, respectively.
